Katy contacted us with concerns that the competitive nature of the legal services they provide meant that CPCs were too high for them to be competitive. We had prior experience in this industry and provided a proposal detailing how we would approach their ads activity.

What We Achieved

We had to create a new ads account and the lack of historical data meant we started with a manual CPC bid strategy as this gave us the best opportunity to control CPC whilst identifying top-performing keywords.

After a month the account had enough history and conversions to switch to a Target CPA bid strategy and whilst this did result in an increased CPC we were able to control total spend via the Target CPA.

In our proposal we had identified the need for weekly lead quality reviews to ensure that the conversions we saw in ads were translating to successful cases for the business, armed with this data we were able to set a Target CPA that resulted in a flow of enquiries with the right balance of lead quality and CPC.

After 3 months the account was generating 50+ enquiries per month with our focus on lead quality resulting in a 40% conversion rate from those enquiries on competitive keywords such as medical negligence solicitor and medical negligence compensation claim
